The S3 Curriculum
In S3 pupils continue to learn across the broad general education (BGE) phase of education and make the transition into the senior phase where they will undertake qualifications and continue to gain personal achievements.
Based on a variety of self-evaluation feedback, and from considering good practice in other schools, we are considering a change to the way we structure S3. Our aim is to make the best use of time in S3 to help pave the way for further success in S4-6.
To help us plan the curriculum for session 2023-24 and beyond we would value the views of parents. We have consulted with parents who have already had young people experience learning in S3, as well as with staff and pupils themselves.
