Renfrewshire Foodbank Collection

We will be accepting donations for Renfrewshire Foodbank all this week, our tenth year of supporting this local charity. I am always impressed by the generosity of our school community, however I am especially conscious of the financial pressures being faced by all at this time. The reality is that while some members of the school community will be able to donate items, others may well be making use of the foodbank themselves. So give only what you can.

This year the Foodbank have asked for the following in particular: tinned fruit and veg, dog food, cleaning products and toiletries. We will also accept any cash donations and forward it directly to the charity along with a contribution from the school’s charity fund.

Uniform / Clothes Recycling

If there are any items of school uniform at home which are no longer required, please consider handing these in to the school office. We will ensure that these items are put to good use, to help families in need. Our Parent Council are also keen to provide a ‘swap shop’ service at Parents’ Evenings where families can donate or collect.

In addition to uniform, we will happily accept other items of clothing which may be of use to secondary-aged children. We are keen to continue to do all we can to help families most in need during these very challenging times.

Thank you in advance and best wishes,

Billy Burke,

Head Teacher
